Personality
Personality:
Hakkon has a god complex. He is adamant that he is the god of war and tend to lash out at those that do not believe. Over time, he has learned that pure violence does not often win over the non-believers and has become quite the silver tongued politician. Hakkon is narcessistic and believes that he is the greatest creation in the world. In his obsessive mind, mares are second class and foals must mind their place or be killed.
Hakkon is obsessed with many things, battles and wars being one of his favorite obsessions. He trains his herd like soldiers and will kill any that do not meet his standards. While he is not the most sane equine, he is talented in many areas that could make him a great asset to have around. He has much training in battle and a thirst for distruction. He knows how to speak to crowds and get them to believe him, that persuasive quality learned after killing more than actually believed him. Hakkon rules his herd with an iron hoof, desiring order and faith in his beliefs.

History:
Hakkon was born and raised in a human settlement that worshiped multiple gods. Their preferred God was Hakkon Wintersbreath, the God of War, and they were obsessed with trying to call him to them to fight with them in battles. This stallion was named after the god and intended to be the host of said deity upon the completion of a ritual. Due to the special treatment that he received and the station that he was to fill, Hakkon became obsessed with his destiny.
On the day of the ritual, a rival warband invaded and killed the humans that had worshiped the stallion for what he would become. Furious at the denial of his destiny, he attacked any that came near him and then stayed in the icy temple for 2 days. When he emerged, he was weakened from lack of food and water and raving that he was the God reborn. He demanded that all of the remaining horses believe his claims and took control of the herd that was left over.
Hakkon was ruthless, killing any that did not believe him. He took those that did and traversed the land in search of a place to call home. As he traveled, he came upon a slight Quarter Horse mare that was similar to himself in coat. She was gentle and kind, though a bit naive. She fell in love with the massive stallion and was soon pregnant with a foal. While she was pregnant, Hakkon treated her like a queen. Unfortunately, the foal that she bore was too large for her tiny frame. She was soon unable to move without pain and was thankful when her labor started.
The colt that was born was nearly his father's clone. He was tall and pale, though his eyes were the color of shadows. The mare was weak and unable to move from the delivery, weaker than Hakkon could allow. Turning on the crumpled form, he lashed out and ended her pain. It was not out of kindness, but rather his fury at her failure to survive the birth of their son. He taught his son everything that he knew, determined that one day he would take the place of his sire and the god's vessel. During their travels, he heard of the Helkaer and was determined to make his son the best of them. That would be where he could allow the God to reign victorious. So Hakkon sent forth his pale son and continued on his search for a home of his own.
